The Danish Warmblood horse is the modern sport horse breed of Denmark. It was developed by crossing native Danish mares with stallions from established European bloodlines. Dansk varmblod was established in mid-20th century. They became one of the most succesful in breeding competition horses for show jumping and dressage.
