For a special commission, Brigitte was asked to immortalize this spirited dog in a bronze sculpture: standing tall, cheerful, and alert – exactly as a Chihuahua loves to present itself.
The traditional cire-perdue method.
The sculpture began as a hand-modeled piece in wax or clay, capturing posture and expression with care. It was then cast in bronze using the traditional cire-perdue method. This process preserves even the finest details: the upright stance, the delicate paws, and the expressive face with its curious gaze.
