World-Famous Horses Became Works of bronze Art

What an honour: a full-page feature in De Paardenkrant en op Horses.nl ! The article “How World-Famous Horses Became Works of Art” tells the story behind Brigitte’s bronze horse sculptures — and how they became beloved icons in both the art world and among horse lovers.

In the article, Brigitte shares her creative process: from the first sketch to the final bronze casting. The power of her work lies not only in the lifelike anatomy of the horse, but especially in the soul she captures. Every sculpture tells a story. Whether it’s a proud stallion or a playful foal, her horses are full of life — and touch hearts around the world.

The journalist from De Paardenkrant visited our sculpture garden in Ermelo, where Brigitte’s artworks are displayed among the natural beauty of the garden. Between blooming stinzen plants, ancient trees, and quiet ponds, the sculptures truly come to life. Art and nature enhance each other in a magical way.

What started as a love for horses has grown into a Gallery and Museum that is now part of the 375 special gardens of the Netherlands. We’re incredibly proud that De Paardenkrant — the leading magazine for the horse world — has featured Brigitte’s work in such a special way.

Curious? You can read the full article in the latest edition of De Paardenkrant, or come and experience the sculptures for yourself. Our gallery and museum in Ermelo is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00. We’d love to welcome you!
