Equestrianism is one of the sports practised at the Summer Olympics. The current Olympic disciplines are dressage, eventing (formerly military) and show jumping (or jumping). Medals are awarded in these three disciplines both individually and in teams.

The sport was first on the programme of the 1900 Olympics. After an absence at the 1904 and 1908 Games, the sport was represented at all subsequent editions of the Games.
